Uganda Mount Elgon Coffee 250g
Mount Elgon was once the tallest mountain and is the oldest solitary, extinct volcano bordering Uganda and Kenya, East Africa. The Sipi Falls are one of the great natural features of the Elgon region where some coffee originates, with smallholder farms based between 1,600 and 1,900 metres. A traditional variety of Arabica beans flourish in the high altitude and fertile volcanic soils. Some farmers intercrop with banana plants to provide shade and encourage cross-pollination.
