All goods on this website are subject to availability. We endeavour to fulfil every order but there may be occasions out of our control where goods are unavailable. We reserve the right to cancel any orders due to unavailability. You will be informed as soon as possible, and a full refund will be given. Sometimes sale items may be sold out and will be dealt with as unavailable stock. Some stock may be only available via our website and not available in our stores and vice versa.
Placing an Order and Order Acceptance
The Order Acknowledgement email and order number are not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Cortile Coffee. Completion of contract between the user and Cortile Coffee completes when goods are despatched (same for part orders) unless we have notified you of unacceptance of order or you have cancelled it. The Carrier will make every reasonable effort to contact you to make delivery, but if they are unable to do so then your order will be cancelled, goods returned to Cortile Coffee and payment will be refunded to your card.
Pricing, Description and Product Information
The prices that you must pay are listed on the website at the time you place an order (plus and delivery charges). If a price listing error occurs on the products ordered at the point of order, you will be contacted to reconfirm if you wish to proceed with the order at the correct price or cancel. If we are unable to make contact with you then we reserve the right to treat the order as a cancellation and begin the refund process. The prices listed on this website apply only to products listed here. The same products may vary in price at our stores or at different events.
Cortile Coffee takes all reasonable care to ensure that all descriptions, details and prices of products in this website are correct at point of listing. There may be a difference in information on this website to when you place an order. Also please be aware that colours and appearance of products may vary slightly due to monitor settings and photographic lightging. However, measurements and sizes are an approximation, but we take great care to ensure they are as accurate as possible.
All prices listed are in £ sterling and include VAT.
Payment will be taken from your card at the time we receive your order and we have checked both your card details and availability of stock. Payment will only be accepted with a valid credit or debit card acceptable to us. The address that the card is registered to must be the same as your billing address. Alternative or new payment cards can be registered at any time, but the card associated with a given order cannot be changed once check out is completed.
To ensure that your credit/debit card is not being used without your consent, we will validate your name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process. This will be checked against third party databases. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you are giving permission to allow us to continue these checks with a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. This is done solely to confirm your identity. A credit check IS NOT performed during this and your credit rating will be unaffected.
Gift Cards can be purchased from this website can be redeemed online or instore at Cortile Coffee. Only one gift card can be redeemed per transaction. Gift amounts are available from £5 to £50. A gift voucher will be sent by email with a voucher code for online use to the gift card recipient or can be printed off by you for forwarding to the gift card recipient.
Once emailed, the voucher becomes your responsibility and we cannot be held responsible for any incorrect email addresses given, lost, stolen or deleted E-vouchers. We can help to resend in the first instance. Sometime emails will filter to spam and you may need to check your computer filter settings or spam folder. Any delay due to this is out of our control.
To redeem your gift voucher simply enter the code on your gift card at the end of check out where the amount will be deducted from your order.
We pack each order by hand and this may include manual label adhesion. As such, there may be rare occasions that a label may not be aligned correctly. We cannot offer a refund unless in an extreme case of misalignment compromising the integrity of the product. We use recycled packaging in a clean and reusable state. This is to help the environment, reduce waste to landfill and be more sustainably conscious. Please note that delivery prices include packaging materials.
We deliver to the UK, EU and International countries.
On receipt of full payment the ownership of an order passes to you once delivered to you directly or as instructed by you. Once delivered, any damage or loss passes to you. You will be advised to claim any recompense from the courier directly. On receipt of full payment the ownership of goods will pass to you once the goods are delivered. We will endeavour to protect your order as much as reasonably possible, however, we cannot guarantee that parcels sent outside of mainland UK will arrive in perfect condition especially chinaware or fragile items. We will not be held responsible for goods having left mainland UK.
All orders received Monday to Friday will be despatched the next working day. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on the following Monday. We aim to get your orders to you as soon as possible and the above is a guide only. Please note that working days are Monday to Friday and we do not despatch on Bank Holidays (UK).
Cancellation and Returns
If you are unhappy with your purchase and wish to return, please note that we can only accept if received back in store within 14 days, unused and in its original packaging for resale. This includes your rights under the distance selling regulations. A full refund will be issued less any postage and packaging costs levied with your original order. We will refund or replace the products only in the event of faulty, damaged or incorrect items being sent to you where a full refund plus postage and packaging costs will be refunded in full.
We will only accept tea and coffee returns if unopened and full weight present. We will not exchange or refund partially consumed products. Any shipping costs are the responsibility of the returnee unless defective. We cannot refund postage and packaging cost for returned items from outside the UK.
Please contact email@example.com in the first instance to advise before returning goods with reasons and proof of purchase.
On receipt of your returned goods we will inspect and validate your claim by email you within 3 working days and refund (if applicable) to you via your original payment method. The timescale for refund processing will depend on your credit card company or bank. We will notify you once we have instigated our refund process but cannot be held responsible for further delays with your bank provider. In the event that refunds cannot be made via the original method, we will contact you to arrange an alternative.
We are happy to exchange goods that do not meet product descriptions, are defective or arrive damaged only if goods are returned to and reaches Cortile Coffee within 14 days. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss in the first instance and we will guide you through the returns process if we accept liability. Please note that sale items will not be refunded or exchanged and only like for like regularly priced items will be exchanged. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the returnee (unless products faulty) and will not be credited. We reserve the right to offer spare parts or replacement items or items to an equal value where appropriate. Please ensure that the return form is enclosed in the parcel so that we can identify your returned order.
Gifts can be exchanged for the same value credited but it is the returnees responsibility to pay postage. This will not be credited. The Gifter will also receive notice of any returned items for their records.
